Note to Self: Deep Relaxation Isn’t a Luxury. It’s a Necessity.
Feeling tired and overwhelmed? This is the quiet ritual I’ve started doing each night to feel like myself again.
The most valuable hour I’ve spent all week wasn’t productive — it was peaceful.
For Mother’s Day, my thoughtful husband booked me a 3-hour spa visit. He knows me better than I know myself — because I didn’t realize how badly I needed deep rest until I was there.
You don’t need a spa to feel deeply relaxed. And even if you go, it’s no guarantee.

At first, it was hard to be still. But within minutes, my body softened.
I felt a gentle tingling in my hands and feet — a quiet aliveness that’s always there but usually drowned out by distraction.
