I am a huge health nut and LOVE to experiment with different ingredients, fruits and vegetables to determine their effects on my health.

I use one particular thing in my tea and smoothies, which seems like a miracle ingredient.

When I feel a little ‘under the weather and detect a cold or flu, I add this to my smoothie, and I clean sweep these symptoms away.

Although I burn my mouth a bit, it’s completely worth it!

The particular herb I’m talking about is ginger & I love it.

There is strong evidence that ginger can help with inflammation, which is important in combatting the disease.

Researchers don’t know how ginger manages this, but there is a body of evidence that ginger somehow assists with combating heart disease and reducing the severity of the flu.

Gingers’ inflammatory properties may be the biggest winning feature against the disease.
