Rather Than Quitting Smoking, He Decided to Stop Taking Vitamins

It happened in grad school. I was at a friend’s apartment, watching as his roommate separated vitamins into a weekly pill container.

He would empty seven tablets from various vitamin bottles, and place them in a box corresponding to each day of the week.
