Shine So Bright That You Reject People Who Ask For an Interview
If they really want you, they will go straight to an offer
If they are considering other people, they don’t want you. If they are asking for an interview, you are nothing but a means to an end for them. Nothing wrong with that. It just shows you where you should dedicate your efforts.
I believe we are entering an era of finding people. The art of recruiting. The art of scouting. This era of skills and CV submissions is closing down.
Work to be known. Fame is the most efficient business model. The highest-paid people are not paid for what they can do. They are paid for who they are.
You have to become an influencer in your field. There is an audience regardless of what you study or love. All you have to do is find an interesting way of sharing it.
When you don’t need them anymore, they will come. When you have their audience, they will be forced to play ball with you. Everybody is looking for their next big thing. Always remember that.
You are not small until you make yourself small. No one is greater than you. If you are patient enough, you can have what you want the way you want it.
