Six Ways to Increase Your Feeling of Well-being When You’re Down
Mental health is one of the key drivers toward the quality of our health now and in the future
I genuinely believe that we all come across trials and tribulations to greater or lesser extents during our time on earth.
I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything more devastating than watching my mum die of cancer.
It’s not something I ever thought was possible because I believed she was in good health. But, although she was 83, many underlying issues contributed to her cancer diagnosis.
It’s pretty easy to become somewhat ignorant of health issues you’re not aware of. I didn’t give mums health a second thought as that was the GP’s duty.
But, as I have learned through that heartbreaking experience — no one will care more about our own health and mental well-being than ourselves.
That’s our job, and no doctor or family member will be as thorough about it as we will.
It’s our life and our body, after all.
