The Biggest Myth About Passion
How You Have Been Lied to hating what you do
How do we love what we do?
When I came here as an International student, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
I saw people willingly do hard jobs to get a paycheck. These are the same hard jobs that would have made them embarrassed back home. Everyone who does it, have my utmost respect.
However, there are also those who couldn’t be asked to get up to clean the dishes.
Now both of them are passionate about a cause. Person A is going to work with a passion to get a paycheck. Person B will avoid the work with a passion, no matter how small.
In all, they are doing something for satisfaction or nothing for comfort.
But why is the person struggling and doing a hard job more satisfied than the person who is comfortable doing nothing?
Happiness Dilemma
