The Karmic Inheritance: Your Future Is in Your Hands
Understanding the past you carry, the present you create, and the future you can(’t) avoid.
The law of karma, one of Hindu philosophy’s oldest ideas, has become a widespread obsession. From past-life astrological readings to regression therapies to transgenerational trauma healing — we’re desperate to decode why we are where we are.
Some swear by karma as a law; others call it a convenient fiction. Either way, everything you do has a price — you just don’t know when the bill’s due.
My knowledge of karma comes mainly from my studies during an online yoga teacher training course with Sivananda Ashram Bahamas, which focuses on teachings from the Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta philosophy.
If you’re new to this, the word karma means action.

This law — a continuous chain of cause and effect — works on levels we barely understand.
But lo and behold, by the end of this article, you’ll see things much more clearly. And maybe, just maybe — you’ll start breaking free from the cosmic hamster…
