If there is one secret you need to master to build desirable habits, then it is repetition.

Once you repeat your habits over a period of time, they become automatic. You do not have to master willpower. You do not have to remember.

Research posits that there is a physical change in brain matter for people who practiced mindfulness.

10 minutes of practice every day shrinks the amygdala — the part of the brain that’s responsible for stress.

This is the reason why frequent mediators can better control their emotions, thanks to the changed brain structure due to repetition.

London Taxi driver also experiences similar changes in their brain due to their deeply ingrained knowledge of the street.

Their hippocampus — the region involved in spatial memory is larger than non-taxi drivers because they have repeatedly driven through the streets of London and therefore, their brains have formed a clear path — a neural pathway.

When you repeatedly perform your habits, you create a path in your brain.

The path may not be visible at first but with continued repetition, the path becomes a clear road…
