The Myth of Enlightenment

Aspiring to enlightenment is an exercise in futility.

I’m just going to say it, straight up. I don’t believe in enlightenment.

I don’t believe in the concept. I don’t believe it’s something we can attain and I don’t think it’s something humanity needs to aspire to. Buying into the idea of a spiritual endgame is, to me, akin to chasing your own tail.
