Today my life is much better than how it was in my younger years — in health, happiness, richness, success etc — most of the things I can think of. None of these happened because of a lucky event. Each one’s yardstick would be different on a success scale, so what it means to me could differ from you, but Immaterial any of that, I am happy I came this far.

I constantly think about what are those powerful ideas that really helped me for a better life. Because I did not always destine it to be good, no one does, of course and like many, I did many things wrong — Lazing around doing nothing productively, not being proactive in many things, letting things take their course without attempting to change, fear, lack of courage when I should have taken steps to do something, no creativity, procrastinating, without putting the needed effort, and not being consistent with many things for long, etc. The list is so huge that I can’t list them all here. So despite many such things, I feel I have done well looking back from the bird's-eye view of a 41-year-old.

Then what are those good things I did? I must have done some otherwise I could not be much better than how I was. Some that come to mind are— reading books, value…
