In my few years on this earth, there have been times when my back was completely against the wall. By that, I mean do-or-die situations where I felt I had no way out.

It felt scary.

But lately, I’m falling in love with this scary feeling, and here's why:

The feeling of having your back against the wall

When I had no job or source of income, I did everything I could to get out of that situation. From trying to freelance or sell whatever services I could think of, I did it all.

I did not see how many hours I was working or what job I was doing, anything and everything that could help was on the table.

When you’ve got no way out, it feels scary but it also motivates the hell out of you.

When your back is against the wall, you’ve got no way out, so you end up taking massive action, and soon enough you start seeing results.

I remember when my business had no customers. I freaked out and started cold calling and emailing everyone I could find on Google who would be interested in my products.

The cold calls went better than expected.
