Throughout my 44 years, I’ve experienced differences in my health and well-being by making positive and negative food choices.
During my ‘tweens,’ I was sick daily. My mum often told me that when playing outside on the grass, I would come into the house with welts all over my body, crying and scratching endlessly.
Mum would take me to emergency at the local children’s hospital, only to have those welts disappear within hours of waiting for a doctor.
No one knew what occurred; doctors were stumped and said mum was too neurotic.
That experience also occurred when I ate certain foods; then madness would start again.
But I caught onto something back then, which is well-known today.
Food and our environment have the power to either increase or decrease the level of our health.
