“We Regret to Inform You That You Never Had a Chance”
If you are getting rejections, change your approach
If you want something, ask for it.
If a significant chunk of your life depends on it, ask publicly. Ask everyone.
Don’t ask one by one.
Instead, ask one-to-many.
Stop trying to be the chosen one. Start becoming the one who makes the choice. This is how to win.
Rejections Hurt
Yes, rejections hurt. But if you really think about it — what actually hurts?
It’s not the rejection that hurts. It is the fact that you really believed you had a chance.
That is what makes the rejection email depressing.
It’s not that they don’t want you. It is that you made a fool of yourself only to be rejected.
The rejection email be like:
“Guess what? You are a clown 🤡🤡”
“We regret to inform you that you never had a chance in the first place. However, we are happy you joined our pool which gave us options”
People who have felt the pain can relate. And it is sad that this is still the default way of how things are done around the world.
