What I Learned From Waking up at 3 a.m. Every Day for Two Years
Anyone can wake up at 3 a.m. but not everyone will do it
I was in high school back then. I used to live in my aunt’s house because it was near to my high school.
Science was my major. Like any other science student, I had subjects like mathematics, higher mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and others. You can get by memorizing biology. But for the others?
Surely you can’t pass the exams just by memorizing mathematics. Let alone higher mathematics. Right?
I proved it wrong.
I was a nerd back then. I had only 3 things in my life:
- books
- books, and
- books
If I wasn’t studying a book, I was writing on a book. Book was everything I had in my life and everything my mind was occupied with back then. I was so preoccupied I would often forget why I went shopping.
Memory would deceive me because I used to keep it preoccupied with all the study-related thoughts: what I was reading before going shopping, what I would study after going back from shopping, what problem I could think about while walking to the shopping center, etc.
