When I Surrendered These Things to the Universe, Everything Fell Into Place
Sometimes, the things we cling to are the very things blocking the flow.
First, A Confession
I used to think surrender meant weakness. You know, losing control. Settling. Letting life “just happen.”
Today, I know it’s not surrender but avoidance.
Real surrender is active. Bold. Terrifying.
It requires one thing we’re rarely taught:
trust.
Trust in timing.
Trust in intuition.
Trust in something bigger than logic, ego, and spreadsheets.
And the moment I surrendered, not gave up, but gave over, everything made sense.
I finally stopped blocking what had been trying to reach me all along.
Here’s what I let go of, and what came rushing in to take its place.
I Surrendered the Need to Know How
Certainty used to be my oxygen.
I needed a guarantee: “Yes, everything will turn out fine, you will arrive at your destination.”
