If you’re anything like me you suffer from the modern disease of impatience.

We all want the good stuff in our lives — and we want it now. It doesn’t matter what it is that we want the same impatience applies. We just can’t wait to get out hands on it.

We may want a book, a new dress, a cooling drink, or a meal — the only thing we don’t want is to wait for your want to be gratified. Our well-documented impatience has led to a whole new industry that is specifically designed to cater to our impatience. Amazon, Deliveroo, Uber, Just Eat, and Pizza Express are all designed to offer instant gratification.

We are increasingly being educated to be impatient.
