A new Entrepreneurship Education Program is dreamed up
Hi, we are the WU Entrepreneurship Center.
In June 2017 we envisioned a new Entrepreneurship Education Program called Changemaker.
This is the story of the Changemaker Program …
The why
They say that good stories emerge from some kind of meaningful unbalance that needs to be restored. We think that our world needs personalities with entrepreneurial minds and hearts to balance out the complex challenges of today. So this is our why.
Consequently, we’ve added a bold tagline to our Changemaker Program:
“Every WU* student an Entrepreneur.”
(*WU stands for Wirtschaftsuniversität which is the German term for Business University referring to the Vienna University of Business and Economics)
The program we envision should emphasize the goals and mission of our Entrepreneurship Center at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Since June 2015, the WU Entrepreneurship Center has been the central place to go to for guidance on entrepreneurship for students and university staff. We empower and support people to realize initatives that matter. Through our activities more and more people dare to come up with meaningful solutions and eventually become Entrepreneurs.
The who
Every story needs heroes and heroines. These are the main characters of this story … our awesome team 😄
Martin is our Program Manager, Inka our Communications Responsible and Rudolf the center’s director. I (Stephan) am responsible for the Changemaker Program and author of the Changemaker story.
We’ll write about our team and program partners regularly during the upcoming chapters. We can already promise this … you’ll meet some very interesting characters along the way.
Another part of “who” is the identity of the Changemaker Program. So this is the logo for the program. What do you think?
It’s kept very simply and modular. The default version shows the type-logo of our university (WU), carries the Changemaker name and displays our tagline. Combs can be added to and removed from the default version as needed to convey a certain message: e.g. hashtags, partners, events, … With that the logo itself is subject to constant change, adapting to the job to be done.
