As we approached our eightieth anniversary at HP, we decided to embrace new digital capabilities that would develop the sales workforce of the future. We combined the strengths of Microsoft Dynamics and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to grow our social selling pipeline by 6,500% in four months.

We have long-established sales processes in place as a global technology company with 55,000 employees operating in 170 countries. Microsoft already supports many of these processes. However, as change continues to accelerate, it is important that we prepare ourselves for the workforce of the future.

The office of the future is increasingly mobile and dynamic. Enter Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Now, we’re encouraging our vendors to adopt the platforms.

This new relationship allowed HP sales agents to access LinkedIn’s network of over 590 million professionals, unlocking new ways to digitally identify, connect to, and engage with customers.

Overall, our collaboration with Microsoft to equip our salespeople with the right tools, modernize the sales process, assess sales team responses to new tools, achieve powerful effects on a global sales pipeline, and capture the bigger picture of process in a digital world.
