At HP, we value diversity and work towards creating an inclusive environment where our team members can flourish. With Women’s Equality Day around the corner, what better way to celebrate than to recognize our fearless female powerhouses of the Channel and HP as a whole?

Stephanie Dismore, Vice President and General Manager of Americas Channel, HP

Stephanie Dismore of HP

As Vice President and General Manager of Americas Channel, Stephanie has showcased her incredible leadership and organization skills time and time again. In the industry, she will often find herself being the only woman in the room. She encourages her female colleagues, to be their authentic selves and to remember that they have nothing to prove but have a lot to offer.

Mary Beth Walker, Vice President of Worldwide Go to Market Strategy, HP

Mary Beth Walker of HP

Mary Beth is an experienced sales, services, and operations executive.

She manages HP’s Go to Market strategy and business planning. She is extremely passionate about building programs that enable diversity and inclusion to promote best practices for the good of customers, HP, and the technology industry.

Mary-Ann Yule, President and CEO, HP Canada

Mary-Ann is the President and CEO of HP Canada and is the face of the Channel there as well. At this year’s HP Reinvent, she discussed the impacts of ‘going green’ and how HP is working towards achieving that goal in the new year. She is passionate about communities coming together to help the environment and is hopeful for the future of HP’s commitment to sustainability.

Lesley Slanton Brown, Chief Diversity Officer

Lesley is dedicated to making HP an equal and equitable place where employees feel they are encouraged to succeed. Taking cues from her own life experience, she conquers diversity issues in the workplace by being a support system for women and other under-represented groups in the tech industry. In 2016, Lesley was awarded Woman of the Year in Technology by Silicon Valley’s Chapter of National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., in addition to the Multicultural Leadership Award by the National Diversity Council. Her many accomplishments show that her hard work and dedication has not gone unrecognized.

Kim Rivera, Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary

HP’s president of strategy and business management, Kim, is a natural leader and innovator. At HP Reinvent 2019, she encouraged companies to transform at a scale for a greater opportunity to connect people, ideas, and experiences.

“Since joining HP, Kim has proven herself time and again not only as an expert in legal and policy areas, but as an essential advisor to our business and regional leadership team and Board of Directors. Her understanding of the entire organization combined with her ability to thoughtfully navigate highly complex issues have added tremendous value to our business.”

— Dion Weisler, HP President and Chief Executive Officer

Karen Kahn, Chief Communications Officer, HP

Karen Kahn of HP

HP’s Chief Communications Officer, Karen is a strong advocate for inclusion of underrepresented groups in the tech industry. In fact, she played an integral part in HP’s diversity initiative where the number of women and people of color were increased in key creative and strategy roles in just two short years. In May, Karen was honored at the SABRE Awards for her amazing accomplishments and passion towards equality with the ‘Individual Achievement’ award.

These women are just a few of the incredible trailblazing individuals who are transforming the tech industry. We are proud to be a company that encourages our employees to shine through their differences and allow their voices to be heard. Women make up only 30% of the tech work force. While strides have been made for more inclusion of women in tech, we still have a long way to go before completely closing the gender gap. The first step towards achieving this goal is more female representation in the tech industry. Fortunately, we have amazing women like Stephanie, Mary Beth, Mary-Anne, Kim, and Karen to pave the way for all the young women who aspire to pursue a career in tech.

Which women in tech inspire you?
