The “Open Channel”

Traditionally when wanting to be a channel on a traditional channel manager its involves a lot of telephone calls. Convincing them you area worthy app for connection, negotiating away the 5–10k USD fees that can apply. And also trying to negotiate away the 1–5% fees they can ask per booking from you as an OTA.

Luckily with Channex all this is gone.

Now you can self connect using a self signup staging server and get started without even asking!

Who is acceptable as a channel

We accept everyone as long as you pass the certification tests at the end of the process. If you are a booking engine, Channel Manager, OTA, Revenue Management app or anyone who needs a live ARI push.

We wouldn’t want to deny someone based on business case, to deny someone because they are too small just means there will be no new challengers in the world.

Certification Process

Certification is simple, we will make a series of changes to availability, prices and ask for some test bookings. Everything which you should already have tested prior to certification. We will also test you pass the mapping tests.

Once you are certified you will have a listing on our application and on the website with a backlink.

Is it worth connecting to Channex?

Doing the development to Channex as an OTA will involve your team to do a few weeks of work. You will have questions wether this is worth doing now or wait for later.
