ALL ONE, When Alone
Serendipity: Andy Murphy sparked my poem * Emmarie Hodge validated my poem
Finally, one day, all mist and dew –
is wiped away. Alone are you
And there before — your blinking eyes,
opened wide the door — to para — dise
The burden too much You’ve come so far?
A welcome — a touch? No! Therin — an empty star.
No Father God to support — no Mother to embrace –
No Brotherhood for comfort. Alone in this place.
Lay the burden down; and after tears subside,
Look around — naught to hide.
Your “self” to face. Your God is “you”.
The “Light”? — an empty place, to fill anew.
Your burden open up; the soul’s womb, you see
an overflowing cup — of me and Me and ME.
A Trinity you say — to fill this empty star?
That’s one way. Many others there are.
Dream — Paint — Play. Your universe is thine.
You, the Creator, your way. Mine is mine.
Alone you be? Fear it not.
A blank page — you see –
is not long your lot.
