2048 Live: A social way to play 2048
Any puzzle lover would definitely be aware of the famous game 2048. This is the only reason why we have picked up 2048 for our first app.
During our development phase, wherever we went for feedback, everybody started asking why to develop a game which already exists. But still we went ahead and finally released it, because we have a set of features which we didn’t found in any other games.
Game Feed
One of the most important vision of our app is to convert this 2048 from a single player game to multi player game. To achieve it we have planned out for an additional feature called Game Feed.
Few of the most important attributes of a 2048 game are score, elapsed time, number of moves. So all our Game Feeds contains these attributes. Since these values can’t be determined before game gets over, we are not generating any feed until a game is got over.
Once a game is over, an auto generated feed representing the game will be formed and will be visible to all other users.
This feed can be liked by any of the user of 2048 Live app.
Challenge Feed
In addition to Game Feed, we have something called Challenge Feed which allows the player to challenge her score to anyone. This is the place where we got the user engagement. Its up to the user whether to accept the challenge or reject it.
How to Challenge
Once a game is over, as told earlier, a Game Feed will be generated. From there the player can challenge to anybody she wants. This is how the screen looks like:
Choose any user from the list of users, enter some batting amount (in terms of Chanse Points) and tap on tic mark on your right top corner. You are done. Corresponding Challenge Feeds will be generated in your as well as other’s timeline.
Conclusion
Above mentioned three features are completely new to our app 2048 Live. There are many more features lined up to come in upcoming releases.
