The sad truth about our kind

We have had the answers to enlightenment for thousands of years. That's not the issue. It’s us. Who we are.

It’s our human nature to crave more and hold onto highs, it’s desperation, and that’s what causes resentment, frustration and everything we call the devil. Pride, greed, etc.

Great beings have wrote the texts and guided us down the path towards healing ourselves and living in constant euphoria. And it’s not from chasing money and egoically battling against others and destroying the world.

But here we are.

With larger and larger ivory towers to feed our impulses, more and more instant stimulation to inject our brains with. The dark desperation keeps rising, and in order to heal we must letgo and find peace with ourselves and others.

You can learn it from Marcus Aurelius in his book he wrote, only about 2000 years ago… titled meditations

And his thoughts and teaching are even more prevalent today.

Just take a moment to consider that, we “think” we are going forward in this fight to conquer something.

You can learn it from many great philosophers, stoics, Buddhists, monks who come to the end, that the present moment is all that there is, and we create our own suffering. In our mind, which isn’t who we are.

We create great attachments and hold onto them desperately and feel sad for ourselves, yet we are part of the universe, and once we can feel that, we can be at peace with ourselves and attract happiness into our lives and to others.

We can choose I suppose to be optimisic and believe in our kind, as we must if we wish to create meaningful change, and perhaps if we pass on love and care to others and help just a few people, make the world a better place, then in the end we can prove the universe that it is possible. That we are worth saving, because if I was god, I would certainly see that we are going in the wrong direction. But is it possible, or will there always be people who feed the beast and fight eachother, can we overcome our humanity? Through understanding and bringing this into the light I do believe we can try, and maybe that’s enough after all.
