ChapterX Basics — Controls and Interactions
There are tons of ways to explore ChapterX and interact with friends in our metaverse. You’ll find a range of abilities that allow you to emote, change visual perspective, and play games. Below, we’ve put together a quick guide on how to make the most of these features. Let’s GO! 💯
First-person view:
Press ‘V’ on your keyboard to toggle first-person perspective. Perfect for taking a detailed look around. 👀
Nitro-Run (sprint):
Hold ‘Shift’ to gain a short burst of speed while running. Gotta go fast! 🔥
Emote:
Right-click your avatar and select from the list of emotes available. You can also hold up NFTs in your wallet (pictured above). ✌️
Change perspective:
Right-click and drag your mouse to look around the environment. If you’re on a trackpad or Mac, make sure to use two fingers to rotate. Useful feature if you’re taking selfies. 📸
Double-jump:
Double tap the spacebar and you’ll jump twice (needed for parkour!)🦘
