Following the exciting start of the new year, we are keeping up the momentum with an eventful February! Particlon announcement, Guild growth, Unchained Music developments, HYDRA, and Fraktal are taking the center stage. Let’s dig into what Feb 2022 looked like for CP!

HYDRA

One of the biggest events of the year was without a doubt the HYDRA opening party for ETH Denver. Orchestrated by Mango, Steveo, Ben, and Sam of Charged Particles, the event featured many reputable speakers and leaders of the industry, incredible musical talents including the world-renowned TYCHO, and a supercharged art gallery curated by Steve-O and Superchief x Hoverlay! And guys, an actual blimp was flying around airdropping NFTs and tokens to people. The event coincided with the 1 year anniversary of Charged Particles, making it an incredible occasion both sentimentally and for exposure.

Particlon Mint Passes

Charged Particles and VASI team up to create a project unlike any other! Particlon is a generative collection that aims to elevate the standards and utility of the generative space. At HYDRA, we successfully sold out 250 Mint passes, and have begun marketing and growth. March 29th will open with Presale, followed by the Public Sale on March 31st! The days leading up to the Public Mint will be filled with Twitter Spaces, giveaways, WL opportunities, fun community events, and much more! So stay tuned to the Particlon Twitter.

Guilds

Our guilds have continued to grow wonderfully as new faces enter the channels and work hard to bring their projects to life. Similarly, our Guild Leaders are working tirelessly to bring much needed innovation and productivity to the space with their own ambitious projects; Cybertooth Kat of the Gaming Guild is building the ‘Book of Alchemy’, a P2E game and universe on top of Charged Particles technology, and will feature a generative character project complete with skills, gear, and distinct aesthetics. Unchained Music by Matt of IMT is creating a music distribution platform designed to give power back to musicians; In addition to finishing up a seed round for funding, Unchained has also received a Polygon Ecosystem Grant! Now is the time to get involved, communicate with fellow guildees, and bring your talents to our Discord Guilds (You can find our list of guilds here https://docs.charged.fi/charged-particles-protocol/guilds).

Fraktal Uses Charged Particles

Fraktal is an exciting innovation to the NFT space that enables users to create fractionalized NFTs, called fraktions, to split ownership, royalties, dividends, and interest between multiple individuals or groups. This technology opens up the market to potentially millions who are unable to enter high-quality and expensive collections due to high barriers of entry. Earlier this month, Fraktal announced that their launch would support Charged Particles NFTs, effectively allowing any NFTs including baskets/nested tokens to be fractionalized.

Our Team

Although we did not grow the team with new members this month, we wanted to put the spotlight on our Creative Director, Mango! Mango coordinated the HYDRA opening event for ETHDenver, bringing in high-fidelity sound systems from CP partner Dragonfire. The event was a huge success thanks to the sponsors Mango secured, as well as the musical talents and the venue itself, which boasted a blimp from which prizes were literally ‘airdropped’!

About Charged Particles

Charged Particles is a protocol that allows users to deposit ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 tokens into NFTs. A scarce NFT (e.g. Art, Collectible, Virtual Real Estate, In-Game Item, etc.) can now be transformed into a basket holding a number of other tokens. The Principal amount can be time-locked inside the

NFT, and through integration with Aave’s aTokens, the programmable yield from these DeFi yield-generating assets is just a few clicks away.
