March was like a blink of an eye at Charged Particles. After Hydra and the amazing memories we created, our team got busy with the first nested generative NFT project Particlon, the launch of Charged Particles V2, helping Fraktal use our tech for Vesting Capsules, Twitter Spaces with some amazing guests, super nested giveaway bundles, NFT LA and more.

Particlon — First generative NFT drop

Particlon is the first generative NFT drop from Charged Particles. Particlon takes NFTs to extraterrestrial levels with NFT avatars that provide functionality you can’t find anywhere else in the crypto space.

Particlons NFTs are loaded with nested ERC-20 utility tokens at the time of mint. Each Particlon will have a unique quantity of Particlon utility tokens ($PUT) that can be used to acquire additional in-game assets and entry to token-gated tournaments. Early minters will be rewarded with more $PUT tokens.

We’ve collaborated with World of Women, Cyber Turtles, Peaceful Groupies, Crypto Tech Women, Crypto Dads, Boss Beauties, 90s Babes, Knights of Degen, Franken Punks, URS Project, Angels Of Aether, Universe.xyz and many more communities.

Particlon has also announced an official partnership with Monaverse to bring you experiences beyond just owning a digital asset. Your Particlon NFT doubles as your VIP pass to all token-gated Metaverse events including sponsored tournaments, concerts, comedy talent, social events, and more. Fraktal deploys Vesting Capsules

A massive use case of Charged Particles is vesting team/investor tokens inside NFTs, AKA Vesting Capsules.
We’re seeing more and more traction with these. This month, Fraktal launched with 10% of their tokens vested in Capsules. Further projects are in discussions about utilizing these.

VestingCapsules.xyz was created to highlight the features and benefits — easy to remember and share with projects exploring this option.

We were at NFT LA with Particlon showcasing our first NFT generative drop. It was a pleasure meeting our friends IRL and giving away whitelist spots.

Hydra — ETHDenver’s Official opening party

As our guilds continue to grow, we are excited to see the projects of our Guild leaders seeing success, as well as new members joining one of our many guilds!

Charged Particles Card Deck

CybertoothKat of the Gaming Guild successfully created a Charged Particles themed Card Deck and is leading the way in creating community-oriented card games, we can’t wait to see members playing! At the time of writing the Prize Pot is 50 DAI and 2 Book of Alchemy assets worth 150 MATIC!

Twitter Spaces

We’ve had an incredibly busy month of hosting and participating in numerous Twitter Spaces with our friends on the Particlon team, featuring very notable guests ranging from artists, Generative Projects, Crypto companies, and much more! The range of topics discussed were deeply insightful, whether it was valuing NFTs, Blockchain gaming, emphasizing security and project responsibility, art, or community building.

Being active within our community is important and we plan on continuing to host twitter spaces to spotlight others, share what we’re working on, answering questions, and involving ourselves as much as possible!

Team member focus

Rob Secord, our Tech Lead and Co-Founder, is the brain behind NFTs holding digital assets. He wanted to find a solution for small business owners to earn extra income with e gift cards as NFTs at the time when the market is not doing great. Rob met Ben, our Business Lead and Co-founder at Gitcoin Kernel and that’s how Charged Particles came to life. Rob has more than 20 years of experience as Full Stack Engineer and considers himself a non-fungible human, hacking in the Cryptoverse since 2017.

About Charged Particles

Charged Particles is a protocol that allows users to deposit ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 tokens into NFTs. A scarce NFT (e.g. Art, Collectible, Virtual Real Estate, In-Game Item, etc.) can now be transformed into a basket holding a number of other tokens. The Principal amount can be time-locked inside the NFT, and through integration with Aave’s aTokens, the programmable yield from these DeFi yield-generating assets is just a few clicks away.
