What’s Hydra all about?
The namesake of the party, Hydra, is the name of the world’s first NFT-integrated, high-fidelity PA system that was debuted at the event.
Using Charged Particles, Dragonfire Accoustics includes, as a feature of the Hydra system, a special nested NFT to document the provenance of this world-class sound system on the blockchain. This cultural ledger captures the music, moments, and memories of the live events supported by this incredible piece of technology.
Hydra — ETHDenver’s Official opening party was a night that will live on in our hearts for years to come. With world-class music such as headliner Tycho, insightful panels by thought leaders within the Web 3.0 space, exceptional artists of the avant-garde and experimental fashion showcasing their art and installations, LITERAL AIRDROPS FROM AN ACTUAL BLIMP, massive raffle prizes, a sold-out Charged Particles official generative drop mint pass sale for Particlon, and a ton of fun with new friends.
The Venue
The magic took place in a massive Wings Over The Rockies Air and Aviation Museum where the party took place inside a massive 44,000 sq ft hangar surrounded by jets and a sound system like you have never heard from DragonFire Acoustics.
Event Line-up
The event kicked-off at 2 PM MST with mind boggling panel discussions on community management, legal issues in DAOs, NFTs and Blockchain, Interoperability, web3 wallets, Future of NFTs and NFT Platforms & the Intersection of NFTS and DeFi
This was followed by a stunning music lineup from Illestater, Tycho — Our Super Secret Headliner of the night, Angel Baby, Mienne, Loopacabra and Danimal.
Art Galleries
The Spirals Gallery curated by Steveo Spirals, (AKA myself) displayed one-of-a-kind legendary artists from all around the world that included Justin Aversano, Josh Tep, Moodydarkroom, Anthony Azekwoh, Jaeger, Aaron Ricketts, David Henry Nobody Jr, Tye Died, Sean Mundy, Laurel Charleston, foodmasku, Kira Bursky, Max Jackson, Jason, Steveo Spirals, Israel Wilson and Niels Broszat.
Superchief Gallery + Hoverlay
Hydra was an amazing experience. An extra dimension was added with the Augmented Reality NFT Exhibitions by the legendary Superchief Gallery NFT & Hoverlay featuring artworks flying through the hangars skies by ROBNESS and Arsen Arzumanyan.
Particlon — CP’s first generative art project
Charged Particles and VASI team up to create an NFT project unlike any other! Particlon is the first nested generative NFT collection that aims to elevate the standards and utility of the generative space. At HYDRA, we successfully sold out 250 Mint passes! We have tons of stuff cooking up in the month of March for Particlon so stay tuned and up to date via the Particlon Discord!
