The Packy Flywheel Begins
We’re excited to announce the launch of our first Web3 Packs rewards Epoch for PACKY holders! This marks the beginning of our community rewards program, where loyal PACKY holders can earn valuable Web3 Packs through our tiered raffle system. It aligns with MODE’s Season 4, Epoch 6 and will finish in just under one week from today — 11:59PM, April 8th UTC.
Epoch 1 Budget: 3600 OP
For this inaugural epoch, we’ve allocated a total budget of 3600 OP split equally between community rewards and Packy’s strategic pack acquisitions:
- Community Rewards Pool: 1800 OP(50%)
- Packy Treasury Acquisitions: 1800 OP (50%)
As Packy acquire Web3 Packs, he deepens liquidty, increases volume, earns rewards to buy back $PACKY tokens, and secures packs to distribute to holders. We will continue to experiment with optimal rewards percentages over the coming Epochs.
Community Tiers & Qualification
We’ve designed a three-tiered raffle system to reward PACKY holders at various levels. The rules for qualification are simple. You must hold $PACKY, you must hold Web3 Packs, and you must not have sold $PACKY during the previous two Epochs. These factors will weigh into your likelihood of winning Packs in the raffle. Holders of the higher tiers will also qualify for the raffles of lower tiers.
1. Community Tier
Qualification Threshold: Hold at least 1,000,000 PACKY tokens
Reward Focus: $5 Web3 Packs
Allocation: ~67% of rewards pool
Pack Distribution: AI Packs (70%), DeFi Packs (20%), Ecosystem Packs (7%), Governance Packs (3%)
2. Supporter Tier
Qualification Threshold: Hold at least 5,000,000 PACKY tokens
Reward Focus: $50 Web3 Packs
Allocation: ~25% of rewards pool
Pack Distribution: AI Packs (70%), DeFi Packs (20%), Ecosystem Pack (7%), Governance Pack (3%)
3. Builder Tier
Qualification Threshold: Hold at least 10,000,000 PACKY tokens
Reward Focus: $100 Web3 Packs
Allocation: ~8% of rewards pool
Pack Distribution: 1 AI Pack at $100
How to Maintain Eligibility
To maintain or improve your chances in this and future epochs:
- Hold your PACKY tokens — Any sales reset your “never sold” status
- Acquire Web3 Packs with 12-month time-locks — These will be the only packs counted in future epochs
- Reach higher tier thresholds — Unlock access to more valuable pack raffles by acquiring more $PACKY
This rewards system is designed to recognize both the size of your PACKY holdings and your engagement with the Web3 Packs ecosystem, while giving special recognition to our diamond-handed holders.
Important Note: In future epochs, as our tracking system becomes more sophisticated, only packs that have been time-locked for 12 months at purchase will count toward your entry calculations. This change will further reward long-term ecosystem participants who contribute to reducing circulating supply.

While this first epoch uses a simplified approach, we’re building a sophisticated system for future distributions that will include:
- Expanded weighting factors including time-lock commitments
- More nuanced holding duration calculations
- Enhanced transparency and verification tools
- Expanded tier benefits and special distributions
