The World’s First ‘Russian Doll’ NFT: “Pass the Particle”
An NFT within an NFT within… 20 layers of artistic/technical wonder!
Now up for auction to benefit Save the Children.

Pushing the limits of NFT technology is part of the Charged Particles ethos.
So when one of our team suggested stacking NFTs within each other like matryoshka (Russian dolls), we asked, why not?!
Another cornerstone of our company ethos is engaging with our community.
So when we kicked off this initiative, we opened it up to the entire Charged Particles community.
And to round it all off, we aspire to support wholesome charitable projects.
So when the question was raised of what to do with the incredible artwork created, we opted to auction it for Save the Children charity.
So, what was created…?
Within the Particle
The Particle was passed around amongst interested artists in the Charged Particles community for just over a month. During that time, 20 unique artworks were minted as NFTs on the Polygon network — one by each artist.
And…. Here is the Particle!

What’s Next for the Passed Particle?
This truly unique Nested NFT(s) will be up for auction this Friday, October 1st at 5pm PST. Bidding takes place inside the Telegram group of Art Gallery Auction House.
As it is minted on Polygon network, bidding takes place in $MATIC.
Starting price, 1 $MATIC.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the wonderful charity Save the Children, via The Giving Block.

What is a ‘Particle’?
It’s not subatomic physics — it’s an NFT!
A Particle is an NFT minted on the Charged Particles protocol.
Unique among NFTs, Particles can hold other tokens within them. This includes social tokens, interest-bearing tokens, and even other NFTs! We’re loving seeing more and more creative uses of Charged Particles by the community and we’d love to see your ideas come to life.
A scarce NFT (e.g. Art, Collectible, Virtual Real Estate, In-Game Item, etc.) can now be transformed into a basket holding a number of other tokens. The Principal amount can be time-locked inside the NFT, and through integration with Aave’s aTokens, the programmable yield from these DeFi yield-generating assets is just a few clicks away.
