If you want a refresh from an exhausting activity or a filler to a boring day, If Anything Happens I Love You could just be that treat, and can also be more. Most of you may have known the entire plot even if you haven’t watched it, but seeing the way it flows is just satisfying and really mind-blowing. It could also be affecting those who have lost their loved ones.

I’m glad most people understood the movie’s message of the need to end gun violence and the movie’s poignant observation of how grief plays out — in a very understandable way (speaking as a person who had mildly felt grief), instead of assuming it is an anti-gun ad, though I saw one. I must admit, I also have a slight pet peeve on the scratches in the movie (which I know is supposed to be authentic, but still), and I can understand if people dislike it. But when you falsely assume such, there’s a red flag to your review.

Though brief, it is very comprehensive and contains just all the things you’d expect to happen in this movie — and at some point with even more intensity, making it worth the price. Entangled in the memorable tunes and lyrics of “1950” and ambient score by Lindsay Marcus, If Anything Happens I Love You is proof that even easy movies can have a special place in the hearts of men.
