What is the meaning of all this?

I’m very lucky to work with really smart people, and I noticed that during discussions they don’t necessary state a fact, suggest a solution or proclaim their opinion, but ask a questions or suggest a higher level concept. This forces everyone to think about these statements and respond, the result is a deeper level of discussion and exploration of the matter at hand. Which leads to better decision.

Was thinking that it would be great if we could multiple these people and have at least one of them in each design review, feature discussion or strategy meeting.

Since multiplying people is out the scope, I’ll try to make a list of these questions, explore thought patterns and try to ask better questions. But most of all if people start using these questions, we’ve multiplied these smart folks.

What great questions have you heard or asked?
Will this be useful?
