Words hurt and mental abuse is said to be the most prevalent form of abuse. Whether you’re in a long term marriage, or a teenage relationship — it can happen to anyone. This post is part of a series of comics about abuse in teenage relationships as part of the SnapCounsellors campaign by Chayn India.

Relationships have a sticky factor. The longer you’re in them, the harder it is to leave. If you’re facing abuse, it may be harder due to cycles of kindness-cruelty that abusers often employ to make survivors confused, and the depression can make it harder to take a big step. You may think he’s just going through a phase or nobody will be able to love you like him.

But that’s not true. And even if it was, you deserve better.

We have a counselling snapchat account with LoveDoctor for those who want to have someone to speak to. Add us on @ lovedoctordotin.
