Thomas Rhett’s new album Life Changes was released September 8th, 2017. This album has showed fans and viewers that Thomas is not afraid to switch up county sounds and write songs that are from the heart. His entire album is about his family and his wife that he loves so much. From childhood memories, to heart breaking moments with his wife, to the day they found out they were having a child. He uses his lyrics to touch people’s hearts everywhere. Thomas is such a family man and all of his songs have a background that includes his life story,

Smooth Like Summer and Leave Right Now are two songs that stood out to listeners, because Thomas pushes boundaries of the typical sound of country. He adds some EDM into this beat and plays special chords on his guitar. He brought back the pop-rock sound in country. Sweetheart, not only about his wife, but is a song where he brings back the old time chords and makes it sounds like an older song. However then he goes to Renegades and this is the opposite of old time and he uses the rock soul balance. Kiss Me Like A Stranger is an old school R&B bedroom song. Marry Me, is a great song because he makes you feel like it is going to be a love song, however he switches it up and explains how he almost did not marry his wife. Unforgettable was another remembered song about what he did with his wife. Craving You if your typical upbeat country song, and it is about him talking about craving is wife.

This album really showed me as a fan and producers listing to this album that Thomas Rhett can really go outside of his boundaries and produce a very well rounded album. He was touching hearts everywhere with his songs about his wife and family and he is such a family man and knows how to write songs from the heart. Finally the way he brings in old time song beats and some new country up beat songs as well as todays music’s favorite EDM beats he uses all these techniques to create this amazing album.
