Re-Designing a Website

I had the opportunity to redesign a site for a non profit organization Pathway India. Pathway India is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating better living and learning situations for mentally and physically disabled children in India. The original site was (I thought) awful. There was no call to action and no information about what your donation goes to. Plus it looked old and needed a facelift.

I started by collecting information about the organization to become better acquainted with what they do and how they need help.

They were struggling most with monthly donors. They want to be able to run the orphanage each month (which costs $33,000) from donations without worrying about saving money for repairs and other needs they have. My job was to create a friendly site that looked legitimate and created a draw to donate.
