Copying colours the easy way

Coordinating the colour of multiple pieces of apparatus in Chemix can sometimes be as simple as selecting all of them and then changing the colour from the property panel.

The colour of the liquid inside these various containers can be changed in an instant.

However, sometimes it’s not as easy, such as in this example of illustrating drops from a pipette. However, instead of trying to match the colours by hand, you can use this neat trick: in the colour palette, click on the Copy colour button.

Then, selecting the colour option of the item you want to transfer the colour to, click on “Paste colour”. That’s it! Now your diagrams are clear and convey information accurately, without causing any confusion.

Happy drawing with Chemix!
