Once you’ve drawn your diagram, Chemix lets you label it using the Label tool. This can be quicker than downloading the image and using other apps to add the labels, plus it lets you use ChemText to write chemical formulas as well.
The Label tool lets you draw your labels pointing in any direction, but depending on your preference, you may prefer your diagrams to look more orderly.
You can hold down Shift while dragging your mouse to draw. The line will snap to 45° increments, so you can easily label your diagram with perfectly straight, parallel lines.
This can be done even after the label has been drawn. Hold Shift while dragging the yellow diamonds on the arrow.
