Mesh compression in Unity: Why is the memory of my game unchanged?
Recently, a developer friend asked me some questions about mesh compression in Unity. He found that after checking the Mesh Compression option on the Model Importer panel, there was no change in memory. In fact, it is a misunderstanding of the role of Mesh Compression after the Mesh Compression option is turned on then the memory occupied by the Mesh is reduced.
