Recent Months in Pictures

The last few months have been challenging. During this tough time our community and team has banded together to make a positive impact. So much has happened around Manatee County!

Mask Up Manatee Coalition mask deliveries

Masks being delivered to local schools. The kids loved them!
Employees of Manatee County Information Outreach and Neighborhood services deliver masks to members of the community.

The Mask Up Manatee Coalition created custom Manatee County masks. These masks were delivered to local businesses, groups and citizens. During these deliveries disposable masks were also distributed to those in need and census information was shared with the community.

Robinson Preserve is growing!

View of the Canopy Zone located in Robinson Preserve

This addition to Robinson Preserve is fun for the whole family. The Canopy Zone contains boardwalks, rope bridges, climbing nets, and slides. It also has a great view of the preserve!

United Way golf tournament

We were thrilled that we could still host our United Way golf tournament this year! There was a great turn out to the event and everyone had a lot of fun. Thank you to all the teams that participated and to all of the volunteers that helped the tournament run smoothly.

Designation of Bill Galvano Parkway

During the Board of County Commisioners meeting on October 13th, State Senate President Bill Galvano was presented with a designation of a Parkway named in his honor.

Goblin Gathering

The Goblin Gathering event was still a hit this year! The event was full of drive-thru Halloween fun with distanced trick-or-treating and spooky sets. The turn out was huge and there were so many cute/scary costumes.

As we slowly return to normal activities, I can’t wait to watch us continue to grow. Stay tuned for more updates through pictures in the months to come.
