Demand for Disruption — Demand for the CHERR.IO charitable blockchain solution is growing significantly
[Ljubljana, Slovenia] After winning the FutureHack hackathon, the first ever hackathon that took place in Davos during the week of the World Economic Forum (WEF), CHERR.IO, a Slovenian startup offering blockchain solutions for all charitable and humanitarian organizations, managed to achieve another important breakthrough. The potential of their idea, the essence of which is the establishment of a global donation platform, supported by smart contracts, was also recognized by Business Angels of Slovenia, the oldest and biggest club of angel investors in Slovenia, a country that is gradually becoming one of the leading blockchain destinations within EU.
The CHERR.IO team received a special invitation to take part in the ICO Demo Day held tomorrow in Ljubljana. “We are extremely honored that Business Angels of Slovenia gave us the opportunity to participate in such an important event, especially because only a couple of hand-picked teams got the opportunity to present their project to the audience of the most qualified investors in Slovenia, the CEE Region and broader. At this point, when we are still at the very beginning of our journey, this kind of support is very crucial for us. Furthermore, we are also very proud that our platform will be presented at the event by the serial entrepreneur, and angel investor Niko Slavnic, who is also our advisor in the field of raising investments,” says David Tacer, one of the three co-founders of CHERR.IO.
