Chewy is widely recognized as a leader in the design space, but not enough people know that a strong engineering team supports our complex platform. As a massive online retailer with millions of purchases a month and a fast-growing customer base, we’re committed to scaling while maintaining — and often improving — our platform experience; building infrastructure to handle millions of visitors per minute.

Chewy launched in 2011 and is based in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. In 2017 we opened up our second corporate headquarters in Boston’s Seaport District, now staffed with hundreds of the country’s top engineers, designers and e-commerce product leaders. As we continue to grow, we want to share what we’ve learned, what we’re proud of and what we’re working on with our community. We’ll continue to recruit top talent to help us create more customer-centric technology solutions and share our journey along the way.
