After scoring his first pro goal with Rockford on Wednesday, 2018 8th overall pick Adam Boqvist will make his NHL debut tonight.

Not only will Boqvist make his NHL debut, he’ll get to play on the top pair with Duncan Keith, and quarterback the second power play unit.

Chicago starts its California swing by playing in Los Angeles, who they beat last Sunday 5–1.

The Blackhawks have shook up their lines, even their special teams units.

Blackhawks

Adam Boqvist (duh). The Swedish defenseman is offensively gifted, as evidenced by that goal he scored against Washington in the preseason. It’ll be interesting to see how he plays in his first NHL game.

Kings

Carl Grundstrom has 2 assists in his first 2 games this season, and he’ll get a shot on the Kings top line with Kopitar and Carter.
