According to Shams Charania, the Bulls claimed David Nwaba off of waivers on Friday afternoon.

Nwaba was waived on Thursday after the Lakers signed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. After spending the majority of the season in the G-League last year, Nwaba was able to play 20 games for the Lakers. He averaged 6.0 points per game and grabbed 3.1 rebounds per contest. His numbers don’t jump off the page, but he is a defensive first guard who deserves a shot somewhere. This is a good low-risk move by Bulls’ management. Wait, what?

With the plethora of guards in the roster, and the recent edition of Antonio Blakeney, some interesting decision await the Bulls’ front office. Let’s see what happens.
