LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers were destined to fail Thursday night in Chicago, as they faced off against the Super Human #TNTBulls, who extended their Thursday night home game TNT winning streak to 19 straight, 99–93.

It is still March, so Nikola Mirotic continued his MVP like play Thursday night. With 28 points, Mirotic has now scored 28 points in three of the last four games. Over his last five games, the big man is averaging 21.4 points and shooting 63.5 percent, including 56.4 percent from 3-point range. He has made six 3-pointers in back-to-back games (6-of-11 vs Cavs). Mirotic grabbed 10 rebounds and was giving the Cavs defense trouble all night. The soon to be restricted free agent is doing everything he can to earn himself a nice contract at the end of the season.

Point Guard Rajon Rondo flirted with a triple-double, with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 15 assists. The Kentucky Vet gave Kyrie Irving the business all night. Jerian Grant only found himself on the floor for three minutes, while the “Point Guard of the Future” Cameron Payne was a healthy inactive.

While LeBron James shot poorly on 3s (1-of-7), the King put up 26 points and 10 rebounds, including a monstrous dunk on Bulls forward Joffrey Lauvergne.

Other than Kyrie Irving’s 20 points, LeBron received little help from his bench. Without Kyle Korver, the 2nd unit only scored 13 points as opposed to the Bulls 25. Valentine lead the Bulls bench with 12 points, including three 3-pointers.

Rookie Paul Zipser struggled all night long, with just 4 points in 22 minutes. Zipser shot 2-of-8 along with turning the ball over 4 times.

Jimmy Butler, quite frankly, was Jimmy Butler. JB scored 10 of his 25 points in the 4th quarter, including two 3-pointers. Butler showed toughness after taking an elbow to the eye from Iman Shumpert in the first half. Butler could hardly see out of his left eye, but still delivered in crunch time.

The Bulls may not make the playoffs (currently the 9th seed, trailing the Pacers by one game with seven to play) but one thing is certain: The #TNTBulls just simply cannot be stopped.
