Welcoming our new partner: Eric Duboe!

We are thrilled to share the news that Eric Duboe has joined Chicago Ventures’ investing team as our newest Partner.

At CV, Eric will focus on evaluating seed-stage enterprise software investment opportunities and providing support across our portfolio. He brings a unique blend of operational and investment expertise from his previous roles at Relativity and Pritzker Group. At Relativity, Eric was Global Head of Corporate Development, where he was the function’s first hire and worked cross-functionally to lead M&A and investment activity through a pivotal phase of company growth. During Eric’s tenure at Relativity, the company completed several strategic acquisitions and investments, including a strategic investment from Silver Lake, valuing the company at $3.6 billion. Prior to Relativity, Eric was Vice President at Pritzker Group Venture Capital, playing a key role supporting early-stage investment activity across enterprise software and consumer sectors. From his time with Pritzker, Eric carries with him a deep passion for supporting portfolio companies — including needs across customers, fundraising, and hiring talent. His focus at Chicago Ventures will predominantly be on enterprise software verticals, where his deeply analytical and people-centric approach will be a tremendous asset.

Outside of CV, Eric is dedicated to giving back to the community and advising various startups. He serves on the board of Brown Club of Chicago, supporting current students and alumni. He also Co-Founded Chi Tech IRL, an events series designed to connect founders, investors, and early-stage operators, as well as Drippy, a philanthropic platform enabling fans to own personal items from their favorite athletes while supporting charitable causes.
