status
Early this year, I set off on a mission to finally compile all of my demo code into usable projects in preparation for the deployment of my largest open-source project to-date — a collaborative programming website for the Julia language. This mission was outlined as the year began in the Chifi Update I wrote at the time:
In this article, I outlined my plans for a multi-tiered ecosystem for web-development and Data Science using the Julia language. A couple months later and we are now on the forefront of a new Olive
— the notebook editor — version based on a new and improved version of Toolips — the web-development framework — supporting it. To add to this, the Gattino
data-visualization library has also seen its first release.
While I have accomplished a lot in this time and so far this year, there is still a lot more work to do. As old plans phase out, new plans wander in and the next steps in building my massive ecosystem…
