Chihuahua Chain Conquers the MEME Game!

A beginner's guide to transferring your meme coins on Ethereum to the meme chain, Chihuahua.

Your favorite Ethereum memecoins are coming to Chihuahua Chain!

First is you have to have the required wallets both for Ethereum and Cosmos, here are the links on where you can download Metamask and Keplr.

Metamask

• If you don’t already have Metamask installed, please install it and follow this guide on how to set up an ERC-20 wallet.
• Make sure you are on the “Ethereum Mainnet” chain

Keplr

• If you don’t already have Keplr installed, please install it and follow this guide on how to set up a Cosmos wallet.
• Make sure you are on the “Chihuahua mainnet” chain

Now let’s head over to

Gravity Bridge Portal

Bridging from Ethereum to Chihuahua

1. Choose Ethereum in the FROM section and Chihuahua in the TO section

2. Click the Connect button in the FROM and TO section to connect your Metamask and Keplr wallet. Once connected, you should see your wallet address.

Note: Connection approval for both Metamask and Keplr should appear. Click on Approve

3. Next, select the token ($SHIB or $WDOGE) via the Select Token button.

Note: Contract addresses for both tokens are as follows:

$WDOGE — 0x35a532d376ffd9a705d0bb319532837337a398e7

$SHIBA — 0x95aD61b0a150d79219dCF64E1E6Cc01f0B64C4cE

$SHIB will be used for the tutorial

4. Once selected, you should see your available token balance. Enter the amount you’d like to transfer.

5. Check the transfer address if it shows the right address you are transferring to.

Note: You can enter an address manually by clicking on the padlock icon on the right (unlock)

6. Once all details are double checked and confirmed, click on Begin transfer. From this point on, multiple transaction confirmation will prompt from Metamask, just follow the instructions and wait for the transaction to be executed.

And it’s done! You’ve successfully bridged a memecoin from Ethereum to Chihuahua Chain!

Bridging from Chihuahua to Ethereum

1. Choose Chihuahua in the FROM section and Gravity Bridge in the TO section

2. Click the Connect button in the FROM and TO section to connect your Keplr wallet. Once connected, you should see your wallet address.

Note: Connection approval for Keplr should appear. Click on Approve

3. Next, select the token ($SHIB or $WDOGE) via the Select Token button and enter the amount you’d like to transfer.

4. Check the transfer address if it shows the right address you are transferring to.

Note: Gravity Bridge address starts with gravity…

Note: You can enter an address manually by clicking on the padlock icon on the right (unlock)

5. Once all details are double checked and confirmed, click on Begin transfer. A Starting IBC Transfer window will appear, click on Approve transfer >.

6. A Keplr notification window will appear, choose your desired fees and click on Approve.

Note: You can check the Recent Transactions to know if your bridging was successful

7. Now, Choose Gravity Bridge in the FROM section and Ethereum in the TO section.

8. Make sure to click the connect button once again to connect your corresponding wallets. Your addresses should appear accordingly.

9. Again, select the token ($SHIB or $WDOGE) via the Select Token button and enter the amount you’d like to transfer.

9. Next, choose one of the three provided bridge fee options to set a rough timeline for the transaction to go through.

10. Once all details are double checked and confirmed, click on Begin transfer. From this point on, multiple transaction confirmation will prompt from Metamask, just follow the instructions and wait for the transaction to be executed.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully bridged a token from ChihuahuaChain to Ethereum!
