Chihuahua on Leap Wallet!

Your guide on how to utilize your mobile for ChihuahuaChain

Leap wallet has recently released their mobile app and considers it as the super wallet for the Cosmos Ecosystem. Their launch integrated multiple chains including ChihuahuaChain $HUAHUA. Let’s take a look at how we can use Leap Wallet as an alternative to other Cosmos wallets.

Setting up your wallet

1. Download the app thru Google Play or Apple Store
2. Launch the app and choose either to Create a new wallet or Import an existing wallet. Let’s go over both options

A. Create a new wallet

1. Choosing Create a new wallet will lead you to a Secret Phrase View which will serve as the Mnemonic seed phrase of the new wallet you created. The Mnemonic will be a 24-word phrase and you can copy and save it somewhere else. Once copied, click on Yes, I have saved it somewhere else

2. After successfully creating a new wallet, it will lead you to your dashboard where you will see your balance and other chain specific details. To hover to ChihuahuaChain, tap on the $ATOM logo on the upper right of your screen

3. The Switch Chain window will appear, look for Chihuahua and tap it to switch to the ChihuahuaChain and see your $HUAHUA balance

B. Import an existing wallet

1. The most common method to setup your wallet is by Importing. If you want to import your existing wallet click on Import an existing wallet
2. The Import Wallet window will appear, put in the Mnemonic seed phrase of the wallet you want to import or just simply paste it through the paste option. Confirm seed phrase and click on Import Wallet

3. After importing, you can now see the same dashboard with the existing balances of the wallet you have imported.

Take note that multiple wallets can be added to the Leap Wallet mobile app. Just simply click on the Wallet 1 drop down with the leap wallet logo and choose whether to create a new one or import another wallet.

Using the functions of Leap Wallet

Leap Wallet allows you a variety of functions that is similar to web extension such as delegating, staking, claiming, voting and many more, let’s go through each of these.

A. Deposit

1. Click on Deposit

2. The Your QR code pop up will appear. You will have the option to either (1) scan the QR code, (2) copy the address or (3) share your address through various messaging and social media apps

B. Send

1. Clicking on Send allows you to send some $HUAHUA by simply entering or pasting the address of the person you want to send some balances to
2. A pop up window for Send to will appear

3. If you have a Saved Contact you can enter the name or choose it from the list below the enter name or address tab

C. Scan

1. The Scan option allows you to scan a QR code for ease of sending balances to the address linked to the QR code. This can also be used to connect to a dApp with a QR code
2. The show QR code option is for depositing or receiving funds

D. Stake

1. Click on Stake on the bottom of your screen
2. The details on the APY and the amount currently staked will be shown. Click on +Stake

3. The list of all the validators will be shown, search for the validator you want to delegate to then click on the validator tab

4. The Stake HUAHUA window will show, input the desired amount of $HUAHUA to be staked and click on Review.

Note: The bottom Transaction fee will show you the amount of $HUAHUA to be paid as fee

5. A Review Transaction window will appear showing the Unstaking period and the details of the staking transaction, once confirmed click on Stake HUAHUA

E. Governance

1. Click on Governance on the bottom of your screen
2. Choose the Proposal you want to vote or search for a past proposal you want to check details

3. Click on the Proposal, the details will be shown and an option to Vote will be available. Click on Vote

4. A Cast your Vote pop up will appear, choose your vote and click on Submit

5. A Review Transaction window will appear with the corresponding fee charge

And that’s it! More ways to take advantage of your mobile app and utilize your $HUAHUA anywhere and everywhere.
