This is Child of Media; A safe space for the spoiled internet generation. Where we come to seek comfort, not in the anonymous world of judgment and criticism of celebrities and artists alike, but in appreciating the ever-so dominant feeling of being not so lonely when you truly, deeply, are stimulated by what you’ve just witnessed in a piece of art.
It’s a feeling like none other when a movie scene or a melody in an accidentally discovered indie song on Spotify grabs you. For a moment, everything stops, and you know deep down there is no variation of events more perfect and fulfilling than what just went down.
Here in #chom we feed on that feeling and elongate it as much as we can. We laugh, cry and get mad at the art that penetrates our soul. We’re here to read about anything and everything that inspires us in this awesome, absurd world of pop culture. We’ll discuss empowered women, the undeniably catchy pop masterpieces, the emerging pop queer power, and all that is worthy of our attention. Join us along so you can say you discovered child of media before it was cool. But let’s face it, we’re already pretty rockin’.
