Happy Halloween from Childspring!

It’s that time of year — the costumes are out and children are out for trick or treating! This year, Halloween came with the first cold weather in Atlanta, with weather dropping into the 30s overnight. Our staff are enjoying hot drinks, down coats, and warm blankets here in the office!

As the holidays approach from Halloween to Thanksgiving and into December, we are reminded that the children supported by Childpring who come to the United States for treatment end up having amazing experiences with their host families that go well beyond medical care.
This year, Cris from Guatemala decided to dress up as Batman! Maryam from Iraq is seen here working on painting a pumpkin for Halloween.
It’s a lot to manage for children to leave their come countries and their families back home to come to the United States for surgeries they so desperately need. One of the joys of our work at Childspring is accompanying host families as they provide loving, safe, and inviting homes for children to stay throughout their medical procedures.
Happy Halloween!
