December 14th 2021 was a big day in the history of for two reasons.

First up, 12 new agreements with NHL teams were announced — making it the single biggest day of partnership announcements in our history. Secondly, that wave of NHL announcements saw our total roster of officially announced partners break the 100 mark.

We’ve increased our network by a ratio of x5 in just 12 months, entering new verticals, onboarding many more of the biggest names in sport and laying down the foundations for the future of fan engagement; a future to be based on influence and rewards, activated through Fan Tokens on the app and powered by the Chiliz Blockchain.

2022 is going to be even bigger

We’ve taken huge strides forward in the last 12 months, but we still have a LOT of growing to do.

2022 is going to be another landmark year for us as we launch Chiliz Chain 2.0, enabling whitelisted developers to mint Fan Tokens and NFTs using $CHZ. We’ll also further increase the utility of $CHZ and Fan Tokens as we embrace Web 3.0 and the metaverse.

High visibility, high impact TV marketing campaigns will form part of a far reaching, ambitious user acquisition drive as we scale up our business globally in the next 12 months. And, as ever, we’re going to be laser focused on building our sports and entertainment ecosystem, adding new innovations, features and rewards for Fan Token holders.
